  here is an email that my grandmother sent me yesterday.. .

  shawn, it's very difficult & sad to come to this decision, but because of your attitude towards the truth & us personally (thinking that we are stupid) we're going to treat you as a disfellowshipped person from now on.

  actually, you're worse than them because usually they know they have not kept their oath to jehovah & don't speak abusively of the organization and don't turn apostate.

  Be sure and save all your email correspondence.

  Given her poisonous spirit, she is very likely to threaten something illegally in connection with your employment. I would push the envelope and draw out her poison.

  When you have enough evidence use the good law of the land to teach her who has greater authority and that common decency will triumph over Jehovah every time.

  It doesn't seem logical to me.

  Could reincarnation be real? I suppose it could be, just like there could be an invisible super being somewhere out there.

  I kind of like the idea that there can be old and young souls among us. Souls that continue to learn and somehow retain a bit of their wisdom each time they are born.

  Probably better suited for a novel or a movie than reality though. It's fun to speculate though.

  If her math is right, the watchtower would be spending hundreds upon hundreds of trillions of dollars on bibles and watchtowers each year. We know this isn't the case.

  30 million dollars to spend because of stupid child molester protection policies does not comprise 0.00000001% of their total operating budget.

  Wow. If there was a hell, your grandparents would have first class tickets.

  Sorry about your loss, but it sounds like they have the nazi syndrome and are following their leader, the watchtower, wherever it takes them - no matter how dark the destination.

  Great work, everyone who are trying to free some minds.

  Everyone deserves to have their eyes opened so they can make a choice based on reality.

  Another key is to help people realize the incredible almost limitless world of association that awaits them outside of the cult.

  Many close friends dropped me like a hot potatoe, after I left - however, they have been replaced tenfold with friends who are unconditional with their friendship.

  Very refreshing, and enlightening!

  It takes courage to leave and start a new life, but the rewards that come with leaving make it all worthwhile.

  Furthermore, the negatives of having friends and family shun you can be limited or eliminated IF you contribute to the exodus by doing what you can to pull a few more out. It is often easier if you can leave with a few friends or family members. Even after you are out - you can work on getting others out. Not to mention the fact, that you sleep better at night knowing that you are not idly sitting by while friends and family rot away on the inside trapped in a cult.
